Persuasion - Trees

This unit will explicitly step students through the skills of using persuasive devices. This unit is centralised around the theme of trees and uses a variety of books that explore the importance of sustainability for our natural environment. Students will respond and connect to texts using different writing tasks and art activities. Students will also develop their use of emotive language, modality, and rhetorical questions. These lessons can be completed as stand-alone lessons and with other texts of choice.
